Zebrabiores

Nerea Gandoy Fieiras has obtained her degree in Biochemistry from University of Castilla La Mancha (UCLM) in 2019. During her degree she did an Erasmus+ Traineeship stay at Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde (i3S) da Universidade do Porto.

In 2021, she has studied a Master of Genomics and Genetics at the University of Santiago de Compostela, carrying out the master´s final project between the Genetics Department and the Anatomy Pathology Department, under supervision of Laura Sánchez and Maribel Quiroga. Nowadays, the same supervisors direct her thesis project which focus on develop a zebrafish model for study of an ultra-rare variant of Congenital Disorders of Glycosylation.
